Greg Ryan is the founder and head coach of Precision Volleyball.
Greg Ryan coached the Dinos for 20 years and led the team to 12 national championship appearances, 2 national championship wins. He helped them achieve top 4 in the country 11 times.
Greg led his 2003 team to a finish of 7th in the world in the Korea student games
In the two years of coaching the men’s team, he took them from 10th place to 4th place.
Greg took the women’s team from 13th place to 4th place in his time coaching the group.

Patrick has been coaching in Alberta for 37 years. He has been an assistant coach with Red Deer College Kings where the team won 2 National Championships. Patrick has also been the head coach of the Red Deer Kings Boys 18 team that won a national championship. Patrick has won 4 high school provincial championships with Wetaskiwin Composite High School and New Norway School. He has also been an assistant coach with AVA provincial teams on two occasions. He has coached more than 20 athletes that have played at the CIS and International levels. Patrick was raised in Wetaskiwin and currently resides in Camrose, Alberta.
Carson was raised in New Norwary and has been surrounded by the game of volleyball since he was a kid. As an athlete he won 3 Zone volleyball championships and has played multiple positions. 2021-22 with be Carson's third year as a coach.
Travis Rott has been involved in all aspects of volleyball over the last 27 years, starting as an athlete then focusing as a referee. He is currently a National level referee. As a referee, Travis has worked everything from high school and club competitions, to ACAC and USport league and playoff matches
Ryan Popowich was raised in Two Hills, AB, where he grew up playing all school sports, hockey, baseball, and Ukrainian Danced until he was 20 years old. These experiences drove his passion for sports into the education field, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and History from Augustana University in Camrose, and a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education and Social Studies from the University of Alberta. Ryan has been teaching for 21 years, 16 of those at New Norway School, and the last 5 years at OLMP Catholic School in Camrose.
Ryan has been a High School Athletic Director for 10 years, responsible for overseeing the school sports programs. He has coached all school sports, and his passion has been with coaching girls and boy’s volleyball. His High School volleyball teams have been to 8 ASAA Provincial Championships winning 1 provincial championship, 2 provincial silvers, 1 provincial Bronze and a Sportsmanship banner. With Jr. High volleyball, Ryan has been to 7 Battle River Regional Championships, winning 6 regional championships and 1 regional silver. He has been involved in Club Volleyball since 2003 coaching 14U-18U girls and boy’s teams with CVC Attack, Battle River Vikings, and Precision Volleyball and was the Head Coach of the Zone 4 AB Winter Games team in 2010. He is an NCCP level 2 certified volleyball coach and is excited to be coaching this year’s 17U Boys Precision Team.
